Case Study - Bigblue Dive Lights
Bigblue Dive Lights, a leader in the diving industry offering innovative dive lights and accessories, came to us looking for a web site overhaul. Bigblue needed a dynamic web site that could keep up with their new product offerings. Their existing web site was several years old and out-of date. They were paying a web designer to manually add/update products on their web site each time they introduced a new light or accessory. To top it all off, they were only selling their products via their network of dealers, NOT on their web site. All this proved to be both costly and inefficient.
Our primary objective was to make sure Bigblue's products were prominently displayed on their web site, and that their web site visitors could actually PURCHASE their products online. Equally as important was the ability to add or edit products on-the-fly. Bigblue also wanted a "News & Events" page on their web site to keep their customers aware of new product releases, trade shows, photos, videos, events, etc. We worked closely with Bigblue to create a new web site that was both visually stimulating and functional.
The following is a series of screenshots with explanations briefly outlining how we integrated our customized, easy-to-use content management system with great design to deliver Bigblue a web site that was the perfect fusion of good looks and simple management.
The new Bigblue web site is fully responsive, so it looks great on desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones! Not only can Bigblue add, edit or delete products on their new web site, they also have control of all the slides and featured items on their home page!See This Page
This page shows a list of all Bigblue's product categories. Product categories are simple for them to manage via their Admin portal. Once logged in, Bigblue simply clicks the link for "product categories". Here, they can add new categories, edit exisiting categories, and even delete categories.See This Page

This is the detail page fore each individual product. This page is editable via Bigblue's Admin portal (see 'Admin portal - product detail' below). The customer will see all the details Bigblue enters into the Product Detail Page in their Admin portal. In this example, there are product specifications, a description, price, and product pictures.See This Page
A 3rd party shopping cart system is integrated into the web site for visitors to be able to purchase products securely using a credit card. Everything is fully managed for each individual product in the Admin portal (see below), and Bigblue has complete control over all the product details, including price, product pictures and other specifications.

This is the important part - where Bigblue's new web site gets managed. Truevine has developed a web-based management interface that we can customize for your business.
A secure login screen requires you to enter your email address and password to gain access to your Admin portal.
Admin portal - product summary
In this example, clicking on the "Products" link from the Admin portal menu brings Bigblue to the product summary page. Here they can see a summary of all the products they sell. Clicking on any individual product will bring up the product detail page allowing Bigblue to edit or delete that product.
They also have the ability to add new products. See 'Admin portal - add new products' below.
Admin portal - product detail
This is the product detail page, where Bigblue may edit or delete any/all aspects of the product of their choosing. They can change the name, description, price, details, specifications and more.
If Bigblue is sold out of a particular product, but expecting to sell it again soon, they just uncheck the "show on web site" box to temporarily remove it from their web site without deleting it!
If they want to feature a specific product on their home page, they just check the "featured" box on this page to put it into the rotation of featured products.

In addition to everything in the above example, Bigblue can also upload pictures of their products.
In this example, Bigblue uploaded several different pictures of their product, allowing their customers to see multiple angles of their product. Good pictures and descriptions equals more sales!
They can add, edit or delete product pictures at any time.
Admin portal - add new products
Here, Bigblue can create new products from scratch in minutes. They simply add all the details, then add pictures if they'd like.
